We ask that you provide as much notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling your appointment. The time you schedule is reserved for your exclusive use. When appointments are missed, or cancelled without sufficient notice, we are often unable to fill the vacancy causing a substantial financial impact to the business.
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment with us we request 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the scheduled services. A missed appointment will result in a charge equal to 100% of the scheduled services.
If you are unable to commit to appointments in advance, we recommend texting the spa at 720.230.6738 to see if there are any same day appointments available or ask to be put on our wait list. Should an opening in our schedule occur you will receive a text or phone call and will have the opportunity to reserve that time for yourself.
Cancellations due to inclement weather will be handled on a case by case basis. If there is an accident warning in effect for the greater Denver area we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment for your safety as well as the safety of our staff, should this situation arise you will receive 10% off your rescheduled appointment.
We understand mistakes happen, however if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment or if you arrive more than 15 minutes late you will be charged a missed appointment fee equal to 100% of the service price. After 3 missed appointments you will no longer be able to book appointments with The Beauty Room without pre-payment in full at the time of booking.
We do not extend service times or issue refunds or discounts for late arrivals. Arriving more than 15 minutes late for your appointment will result in its cancellation and the application of a fee up to 100% of the service price.
Children are permitted as clients and are welcome to enjoy services under the supervision of their parents. Children without appointments are not permitted as the spa is not a suitable environment for them. If you arrive at your appointment with children who are not scheduled to receive services we will be required to reschedule your appointment and you will be charged a fee in accordance with our missed appointment policy.
Duty to Inform
Your full disclosure during all pre-service consultations in mandatory. The Beauty Room will not assume responsibility for any adverse reactions suffered when a guest has failed to inform us of contraindicating conditions.
Right to Refuse Service
The licenses professionals at The Beauty Room reserve the right to refuse services at their discretion and dismiss disruptive or abusive clients when necessary. If a client is asked to leave due to inappropriate behavior before the completion of their service full payment will still be required. Failure to pay will be reported as theft of services.
Scope of Practice
In Colorado, state law prohibits estheticians and salon and spa professionals from diagnosing or treating clients with skin abnormalities of any kind. Should your professional determine that you are ineligible for service, we will happily refer you to an appropriate physician. When your condition has been resolved, you are more than welcome to return with a signed physicians release.
Refunds for Products or Services
To ensure you receive the most favorable outcome, our professionals perform thorough consultations that require your participation and honest feedback. All service sales are final. Should your outcome not match your expectations please contact Charle Lyons so we can find a solution to your complaint. Wax services are guaranteed for 3 days. If you find any missed hair within 3 days of your initial wax we will gladly touch up the area at no charge.
